How pricing works
Every site is quoted in writing, at a fixed price, before any work starts. Here is what moves that number, so nothing in the quote surprises you.
What moves the price
Five things. Everything else is the same for every site.
- 01
How many pages
A page per service and per town is what gets a local business found. Three services in one town is a smaller job than eight services across six towns.
- 02
How much we write
If you have words you like, we edit them. If not, we write every page from a conversation with you. Writing is real work and it’s priced as such.
- 03
The drawing and motion
Every site has one drawn signature. Some are a band along the page edge; some, like the brick street on our home page, are a scene of their own.
- 04
What has to connect
A form that emails you is standard. Booking, payments, or pulling in reviews from somewhere else takes more.
- 05
Where you’re starting
A rebuild starts with an audit of what you have. Moving content, photos and addresses over is part of the quote.
In every quote
- A written quote with a fixed price, before any work starts
- What’s included, page by page, in the quote itself
- Hosting set up on your domain
- Share images, structured data, sitemap and analytics
- The editor, so you can add your own work
- Checking at six widths and for accessibility
Questions
Why don’t you list prices?
Because the honest answer depends on the five things on this page, and a number without them would be a guess. Tell us about your business and you get a written, fixed quote.
Is there a monthly fee?
Hosting a static site like this costs little, and the quote spells out what it is and who pays it. Care, if you want it, is separate and optional, and the quote says exactly what it covers.
What if I want changes later?
Small changes are what Care is for. Bigger additions, like a new service with its own pages, get their own written quote.
Get a written quote
A few questions about your business and what you need. We read every one and write back with what we’d build, what it takes, and a written quote.
- 1 You answer a few questions, about five minutes.
- 2 We look at your business and anything you already have.
- 3 You get a written plan and a fixed quote.
